THE HEAT IN IRAQ

Dedicated To All Our Troops In IRAQ

As I sit here in my nice comfortable room, I think
about the suffering and pain my son and the troops
are going through in IRAQ.

With the average temperature being about 130 degrees
it feels to them like a hot hair dryer constantly being on
them with no relief in sight.  It also feels as though they
are in the kitchen where their dinner is being prepared
and the oven door is opened to check on their dinner.
That blast of heat when they open the oven door is the
heat felt in IRAQ at all times of the day. 

Now maybe when they are blessed at night the temperature
will drop down to 100 degrees.  That is a slight relief for our
troops.  That drop in IRAQ is like 60 degrees here in the U.S.,
a welcome change in temperature.

Don’t dare leave your water bottle outside in the heat of the
day, if you do, be prepared to make hot tea because that is
how hot the water will be.  Who wants hot tea in the middle
of the dessert?

Let’s continue to pray for our troops everywhere.
